Description

Job Purpose:


 Management of the QC department to assure compliance of the QC laboratory with official regulations, Health Authorities requirements and Company requirements and to support business needs. Ensure the respect of HSE Policy and company Code of Conduct in the department.
Main accountabilities:

  • QC release/reject of tested incoming material and/or manufactured products
  • Ensure adequate planning of routine lab testing, stability testing and other lab related activities (e.g. OOS investigations, analytical transfers)
  • Hire and train lab personnel to assure adequate staffing
  • Coach and develop people
  • Make sure lab investigations are conducted properly and on time
  • Ensure compliance of all activities with QM, QD, GOP, SOP, official regulations
  • Ensure appropriate internal documentation is in place: SOPs, test methods, specifications, etc. and updated on a timely manner according to QM, QD, GOP, Pharmacopeias, official regulations
  • Organize good working process in respect of compliance, performance, timing and costs by adequate management of resources (personnel, equipments and costs)
  • Ensure all personnel follow HSE requirements
  • Make sure lab equipment is adequate for purpose and  correctly validated
  • Represent the lab during inspections
  • Actively represent  the site at a Global QC level
  • Collect accurate figures for lab metrics parameters and report them
  • Strongly focus on continuous improvement
  • Ensure the respect of HSE Policy (HSE Guidelines, Guidance Notes and Technical Working and Company Code of Conduct in the department
  • Participate to the group Audits (QA, HSE…)
  • Respect to close Corporate Audit findings, internal Audit actions and all HSE CAPAs in allocated time

  • Minimum education: Master in sciences (chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy or equivalent)
